Man this just sucks ....poor Teddy one of the hardest working nice guys in the NFL..gets a random
non contact injury right before the season...

I'm not sure the butt fumbler fits in Turners system.
Mettenberger is available , Vikings could be a good fit. And then see what we got when Heinicke comes available.
It would be nice if someone could get playing time Thursday.
It will be interesting to see who Rick and the Boyz's comes up with.

A #7, former scrambling QB, once took Minnesota by storm in what was on of their greatest season's ever. I know of another particular QB who fits that description and is currently looking for work.

C'mon with McCown. I don't understand the infatuation with him. May as well stay with Hill. People are overvaluing his Chicago run way too much and that was 3 years ago now anyway.

Well crap.... Our pickings are slim here. Looks like the cheapest trade alternatives would be Josh McKown or EJ Manuel. I feel that they will go with Hill, but he's not very good.
We HAVE TO address this in the future. QB and LT. I would draft one every year or at least every other.
You never know !!!

mothman makes a great point and up until this point i have not been high on bridgewater. with that said, he has looked tremendous in the pre-season that is what makes this saddening. from what we have seen so far, i think he would have put up more than 17td's, but who can say for sure? all i know is this; if shawn hill is our only plan going into week 1 flush the season down the toilet. on top of that, next year peterson will be a year older and as someone said if they sign that racist pig kaepernick i won't watch a single game.

They
are staying with Hill. No name being thrown out there is likely to replace him at least for the first 4+ games. It's about having a guy to come in if Hill goes down or to push him later in the season. McCown is a fine backup, which is all the Vikings are going to find.

No way they trade McCarron, why would the Bengals trade their backup and leave them in the same situation as us? Our best bet is to ride hill this season, may even switch to Heineke if he gets heathly. If people think someone with zero experience in turners system can come in. And play better or more efficient than hill they are crazy.
