Leading all purpose. Eric Dickerson is still leading rusher. They were very close though.Pondering Her Percy wrote:
I disagree. Line is very valuable out of the backfield. Blocking is still up and down at times but the guy was the all time leading rusher at SMU. He's better than some give him credit for
I guess I would rather have Asiata do a FB type role and use that spot for David Morgan or another OL.S197 wrote: Leading all purpose. Eric Dickerson is still leading rusher. They were very close though.
Moritz Bohringer, He played late in the game, and failed to catch the only pass thrown his way.allday1991 wrote:Quick question. Didn't get to see the game but did mobo play at all?
He played the first series and that is it. Are you really complaining because he didnt play much in the first preseason game? I wonder if Cincy fans are complaining about Daulton not playing much... Or AJ Green.PurpleKoolaid wrote:I was kind of thinking the same thing. I think Morgan is ahead of schedule, and Line is, well, Line. Morgan needs Lines repsand playing time. I think he has more top end.
Speaking of TE's, where was Kyle? What a waste he has been in previous years, I hoped hed start out with a band this year. He and Treadwell can really eat up that short stuff, leaving AD more room, and open up the deeper routes.
I disagree about Brothers. He was the one that stuffed the 4th and 1 in the 2nd quarter. You have to understand that Zimmers scheme is quite complicated and you often here guys saying that in their first year its a lot of thinking. Look at Joseph and Mannerly in their first years. They were very quiet. The more comfortable they get, the faster they can play. He was the leading tackler in all of college football last year. He knows what he's doing back there, he just needs more time to grasp the scheme and react more than thinkfiestavike wrote:I think Kentrell Brothers was the worst player on the field last night. Slow, weak, small, and frequently out of position.
Trae Wayned tackling was...bad. Otherwise, he looked ok.
I don't think Waynes looked that bad at tackling either... He was no Antoine Winfield, but i don't remember him missing any tackles either.Pondering Her Percy wrote: I disagree about Brothers. Roberson might be in a legitimate battle with Price for the last CB spot. I'm looking forward to seeing more of them both.Texas Vike wrote:I thought Trae Waynes looked solid. The Bengals targeted him repeatedly and he did a nice job. Jabari Price was the one player that stood out in a bad way in the secondary IMO.
Yeah same here. I thought Waynes played excellent.PurpleMustReign wrote: I don't think Waynes looked that bad at tackling either... He was no Antoine Winfield, but i don't remember him missing any tackles either.
