I like the saints well enough. Payton is gross, but otherwise they're alright. Of the playoff teams other than the Vikings, I'd probably be pulling for them, particularly if something should happen to Drew Brees.
Meaning, Teddy starting would make you cheer them on? I get that. His presence on that team certainly complicates how many of us view them.
Part of me wants the Seahawks to win, so that we go to SEA for our game. I think we can take them.
Yes, that would give me a rooting interest. As it is, I expect only to be rooting for whoever GB is playing against once the Vikings are out of it.
I’m all for playing New Orleans. They haven’t had many great wins either. I like the idea of being in a dome. Regardless having cook back should make a huge difference with how the play calling goes.

Being in a dome should help our offense, but I think we'll still lose. I just don't think we can keep up with the Saints. I expect a high scoring game, 45-31, something like that. If we get the Seahawks, it'll depend a bit on the weather.

This isnt the 2009 Saints offense. Their running game is sub par. Brees' arm is shot. They are still good for sure, but they arent nearly as high powered as they use to be.

They beat Houston, TN, Seattle and the Bears. The only playoff team they lost too was SF, and that game could have gone either way.
3 wins out of 4 chances against playoff teams and they killed a team that beat us at full strength. With their backup QB playing.

As it stands right now, the Vikings will face the 49ers in the first round?
Can't wait to see what a rested Vikings offense does against that defense. On the road. Outdoors.
On the SNF pre game , and just now at halftime, they said if Niners win tonight we will play Saints. If Seachickens win we will play them.
I think I would prefer Seattle myself.

Thanks for clearing that. I think if they win they are top seed. Seahawks are done IMO. No running game and now it's all Wilson. We'll see how he does tonight. They are a one and done team IMO. I think we have a better team. Including QB.

Tough choice. If Seattle is good enough to beat SF, then they can certainly beat us. One thing we’d have going for us is that it’s tough to keep beating the same team if the teams are evenly matched.
On the other hand, the Saints are red hot.
I think I have to agree. Let’s go to the left coast.

Not real excited about playing either team really. But like you said Kapp the Saints are pretty hot right now. I'm afraid Brees to Thomas would happen over and over and tear us up.
I know Seattle beat us a few wks ago, but I still think like our chances beating them better than the Saints. Although I would enjoy beating the Saints and their dickhead Pumpkin headed coach more.

Jeez, in that dome, Thomas might catch 25 against us.

Ok? Houston has been one of the most inconsistent playoff teams out there. Seattle, good win. Tennessee, decent win.
And who cares that they beat the bears? We smoked the eagles who beat the packers. We smoked the falcons who beat the saints and 49ers. The Seahawks lost to the cardinals. The packers got smoked by the chargers who we beat by 29. Like, it doesn’t matter who beat who. What matters is what you do when the time comes. If we play New Orleans, it doesn’t matter who they beat or who we beat. It’s a fricken playoff team against a fricken playoff team. Nothing else matters other than how you play right then and there.
But please, go defend how all these teams had great schedules, we had a crappy one, we don’t deserve to be 10-6, our QB can’t beat a winning team and only count who you want as quality wins. Again, I don’t give a fuc# who we play, they could be the best team in the nfl or the worst, we need to do our job and win the damn game. Losing to the fricken bears in week 4 means nothing. Literally zero at that point. Simple as that
