Age, arm talent, yards thrown etc or whatever ever matrix you want but which one had “it”. Kirk has a great arm, ball placement and smarts but he lacks “it”. I’d rather have a qb that can get the regular stuff done but have that thing in him that makes a winner. In my opinion.

I don’t envy kewsi one bit this offseason. I’m not getting a very good vibe about JJ and the money he wants maybe it’s all for show but regardless it’s going to be a haul. Vikings will lose and it won’t be particularly close. The lions are better in every aspect of the game. It will put to bed any playoff talk. But really what to expect starting 4 different quarterbacks and really not much talent on defense.

As an aside to this, I wonder why teams that don't have a clear-cut starter don't switch QBs out more in game. Not as a punishment for not playing well but as an actual strategy. QB by committee where you rotate them in based on their strengths for a given play.

The real problem with the defense is lack of talent/playmakers. Name one guy we have on the roster since drafting Hunter or Smith that are difference makers. Poor drafting under two regimes
