Re: Do we actually (gulp!) have a decent O-line?

PFF overall grades for our offensive linemen through three weeks.

Darrisaw: 75.5 (14th / 70 T)
Cleveland: 68.7 (20th / 73 G)
Bradbury: 69.8 (6th / 35 C)
Ingram: 56.2 (43rd / 73 G)
O'Neill: 75.9 (12th / 70 T)

Darrisaw is trending upward. Against Detroit, he didn't allow a single pressure on 47 ...

Re: Do we actually (gulp!) have a decent O-line?

Oline Pressure percentage by year (pressure allowed per snap by the Oline):
2022: 83.9
2021: 84.4
2020: 82.9
2019: 83.8
2018: 80.9
2017: 85.6
2016: 82.2
2015: 79.6

Even though our line hasn’t been very good, this seems like extremely high pressure percentages. Is this saying we give up pressure ...

Re: Rick and Zimmer both gone

Opinions on Mike Borgonzi from KC as GM?

It seems as though he’s been given a decent amount of credit for finding some of KC’ s most recent draft gems and rebuilding their Offensive Line after the Super Bowl.

Re: "Off Topic" Gable Steveson Golden

VikingsVictorius, you seem pretty knowledgeable about wrestling. I am a huge Fan of high school and collegiate wrestling, having competed at both levels back in the day. Steveson is very impressive, the quickness and agility for a man his size is amazing. He wants to go pro into the WWE, which I’m ...

Wow, small world. I am also a Viking fan in eagles land. I was also born in 1963 and a Pirates fan. So you and I share the same agony of 40 plus years of not reaching a Super Bowl or a World Series. I feel your pain!

If you tell me that you were born March 14th, I'd say that things have ...

I was 9 years old in 1972 when I started to become interested in sports, My first love was baseball. My dad and brother were big Philadelphia fans. I jumped on the Pirates bandwagon because they were the current champions. The next year, I became interested in football also, and I adopted the ...

Re: Draft thread

Just saw a rumor that Dolphins are trying to get #3 while holding onto #5 and then combine 3 and 5 to move up to #1.

That rumor is false, Bengals already told Dolphins a big fat NO and told Burrow yesterday that Bengals are drafting him

I don’t think it will happen either, but I saw it on ...

Re: Dalvin Cook

I’m with Kapp on this. There is only so much money to spend and RB is the last place I would spend big bucks(10m+/year), at least “long term” big bucks. I get where VV and PHP are coming from but I’m in Kapp’s camp on this.

We're talking $4 million if you are with Kapp on this.

Guess we are ...

The Draft Network - Mock Draft Simulator

22 K'Lavon Chaisson, EDGE, LSU

Too good to pass up. Offers scheme flexibility as 4-3 DE or 3-4 OLB. Seeing him opposite Anthony Barr in a 3-4, or across from Danielle Hunter in a 4-3 is really exciting.

25 Josh Jones, OT, Houston

He's got tons of ...

Re: 2020 Offseason News Thread (Signings, Coaching changes, etc.)

So it looks like we will definitely be looking at WR early in the draft, with Anderson and Perriman signing. Don’t think there is much left in FA at that position.

Any thoughts on why we are clearing cap space? More extensions, or FA target?

Re: Remaining Free Agents

At receiver, my preference at FA would probably be Perriman, I think Anderson is asking too much for us to be involved. Not sure what D. Thomas has left. Wright or Gabriel would be ok if cheap enough, but then I definitely would want an early pick in the draft go WR. With Perriman I think we could ...
