Re: Toxic Leadership

Not only that, find me one past defensive player on any team zimmer has been on that has said anything actually bad about him or how he leads. Or how his practices are too much. Past players who have nothing to hold back. Because i havent seen a single one. Gimme a break. Ellison's dad is just ...

Re: Toxic Leadership

Not to be rude, but this statement is open to interpretation. We do not how much Norv was willing to take to conclude if he or Zimmer were the individual being unreasonable. We know they reached an impasse. We do not know if it was mutual or one sided, only that it happened.

My point is that if ...

That's not what he said. He said:

"It's something people may not understand. It's not me against somebody else. The situation was such ... I don't think I could get done the things we needed to get done. It wasn't something you just wake up and decide. It's been building. It wasn't going to ...

Re: Toxic Leadership

Norv Turner has a long history in this league and he doesn't have a reputation as a flake. He didn't just quit because things weren't going the way he wanted.

That's what he said. He didn't like the direction they decided to go with the offense, so he quit. Not professional and not good for the ...

Re: Toxic Leadership

I mostly lurk on here, but I'm a Zimmer fan and I wanted to say something. I think Norv Turner had a lot to do with the problems last year. Things weren't going the way he wanted so he quit, and I believe he caused a lot of division and strife in doing so. It's weak to quit in the middle of the ...

Re: DIVISION CHAMPS B*TCHES!!!

Congratulations from a Bengals fan. What Zimmer has done there in two years is amazing, but not surprising. We fans always knew how good he was.

Re: Week 3 Predictions: Chargers vs Vikings

Hi. I'm a Bengals fan and big Zimmer fan. When the Bengals played the Chargers last week, it was a tough game. We were able to beat them in the trenches, and our defense (built by Zimmer) put pressure on Rivers all day. We managed to squeak out a win, but it wasn't easy. Turnovers on both sides, etc ...

I'm interested to see if Norv Turner has managed to help Ponder.

Re: Vikings @ Rams Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 1

I knew Coach Zimmer would turn around this defense. Great job!

Re: Vikings sign S Chris Crocker

Those aren't the greatest credentials, you'll have to admit. A guy who typically spends August sitting on the couch and then gets called up later in the season. Eventually, the guy has nothing left to give.

All I can tell you is he always came through, whatever Zim asked him to do. To come off ...

Re: Vikings sign S Chris Crocker

Good to see Crocker is playing again! He used to end up on the Bengals every year, the last couple of years he came in mid season after injuries. One year he came off the couch and got an interception the first week back. He's a great Zimmer guy. You will like him. I'm a Cincy fan first and foremost ...

Obviously Houston. That Mallett trade still hasn't happened. They also guaranteed a fifth year option by taking Bridgewater in the 1st round.

Re: vikes wanted manziel

I don't think they wanted Manziel. I think they were afraid Cleveland was going to take Bridgewater. Manziel is just not a Norv Turner guy.
