LOL! I just say what other people are thinking, but are too afraid to say because of "society." Luckily, I'm not here for friends. I mean, someone HAD to clown on this thread, and I was more than happy to oblige.
I have no beef with you, John, and I understand you have personal relationships ...

Re: Free Dr Pepper 20 oz on Sunday NOT SPAM
I think wanting a can of pop that badly is a little deeesssperado. Last time I checked, I'm allowed to express opinions. 90% of what I post on this board is Vikings related. When's the last time you said anything about our team? Nah, but thanks for the history lessons.

Re: Brock Lesnar -- Champion
First of all, how the hell would you know how much I know about MMA. Secondly, I know perfectly well what Brocks limitations are from watching him and he plays to his strengths, just as all fighters do. If you have a certian advantage, you use it and thats what Brock did.
I love how the two Brock ...

Re: Brock Lesnar -- Champion
He won the fight. I'm not arguing that. You obviously know little about MMA, however, or you'd have seen major holes in Brock's game. Right now he's not champion because he's the best martial artist in his division...he's the champion because he's gigantic. The cavemen might love the hell out of ...

All true points Demi. That's why it happened. But I still reserve the right to sip on my sour grapes.

Re: Brock Lesnar -- Champion
In TODAY's ultra-competitive UFC, it is extremely rare for someone with little MMA experience to get a title shot. In fact, I believe Big Nog (the interim heavyweight champion) should have fought Couture (the heavyweight champion) to reunify the belts before any challengers got a shot. To lump BJ ...

Re: Brock Lesnar -- Champion
Yes, what a proud day for the sport. A true mixed martial artist loses to a steroid-ridden freak with little fight experience. The aforementioned artist, Randy Couture, was 45 years old when he lost on Saturday. 10 years ago, he wouldn't have.

Thanks Cliff for actually responding. And since you're going to beat me in fantasy tonight, I may as well give you kudos on that as well. I talked ish beforehand, but it was all in fun.

Stellar Album Alert: Skeletal Lamping
So once upon a time we had a conversation about music on here. Though in my defense of modern music I may have made some statements that, upon reflection, I don't agree with, I certainly think there are a lot of stellar bands and musicians out there consistently putting out good albums and totally ...

X your posts on this thread are like greek to me but I enjoy reading them. (Sorry, I was a communist for most of my life. The closest I got to free market was dividing an ounce into eighths.) I don't think I'd ever have the balls for the stock market. It's kind of a trust issue.

Re: o.j. found guilty
Point well taken. In this particular case I believe I am correct, but in projecting my belief onto the millions of other court cases, I can see the inherent danger.
You also reminded me how much I'd love to be a juror. I'd be damn good. You hear me State of Texas? I ain't doing nothing.

Re: o.j. found guilty
I don't understand how a juror knowing OJ's previous actions (the murders and the wacky #### behavior since then) is somehow "tainting" them. I think that knowledge is probably important to the case. It's part of who he is, and he is a central figure in the crime. Adolf Hitler gets picked up for ...
