Anyone watching CFB this season?
It's a bit hard to look forward to the 2017 draft since we don't have a 1st rounder, but we definitely could use an infusion of talent at OL and, IMO, a RB. I like McKinnon, but we would be wise to draft a bigger work horse back that can be another option. I am working under the assumption that AD will change teams.
I like Samaje Perine from OU.
We are not in the market for QB this year, but Luke Falk from Wash St looks good. He is in Leach's Air Raid O which hasn't always translated to NFL success for QBs, but he looks the part.
OL is one of the hardest positions to evaluate IMO (maybe for pro scouts too, ours haven't done well). Anyone have any guys they like and who are worth keeping an eye on down the stretch?

What do you like about McKinnon? I have never seen a more average or below average RB, and he was taken in the 3rd rd. What a waste.

I agree. Nothing special. CP was way better at making plays.PurpleKoolaid wrote:What do you like about McKinnon? I have never seen a more average or below average RB, and he was taken in the 3rd rd. What a waste.

Not sure what I liked about him back when this was posted last year, I think my meaning was more along the lines of: he's OK, but he can't carry the load.
I continue to like Perine and Mixon from OU. Anyone have any contributions to add to this thread? I guess I was well ahead of the curve looking to the draft back in November!

It would be pretty cool to go from one great OU running back to another.

Good read. He's projected for the 4th or 5th round by the sites I've seen. I'm intrigued.
