How do you go from coaching RB's to QB's? I hope he wasnt our RBs coach last year.

He was the Rb coach last year and he was the TE coach the year before that. He was an assistant QB coach prior to coaching TEs so he has some experience working with QBs. He started with the Vikings as an administrative assistant to Brad Childress.

He played DB in college so naturally, he's only coached offensive positions for the Vikes.

In some cases there are assistants to the assistants (and they probably have assistants too!).
