Frazier is just trying to be positive I think. He is a former player and from what I've read a player's coach, so his mindset is going to be looking forward and fixing things rather than ripping his players. That makes sense to me when looked at from his perspective.

I prefer the straight shooter myself who tells it like it is, but what Frazier is doing is hardly unique in terms of how NFL head coaches handle pressers. As Dead Poet said, I highly doubt he's as complimentary and complacent behind the scenes.
