I agree. His TD to INT ratio is unreal.

Yea its not even really close either, it is really a buncha crap that we have to play the best player in the league twice a year.jackal wrote:Arron Rodgers , sure the heck is elite... Man he is the Best QB in the league, IMO

Ahem. Who's not elite again?
Four game win streak (longest in the NFL), 9-3 (tied for best record in the NFL) and just beat the Pats (the best team in the AFC). If the Packers aren't elite, no one is.

He just tossed the rock 60 yards to Jordi Nelson on a line, just an old school bomb and hit him in stride. The guy's just unreal. I hate it.

I know what you mean. I get aggravated watching him because he's so good... and he's a Packer.Texas Vike wrote: He just tossed the rock 60 yards to Jordi Nelson on a line, just an old school bomb and hit him in stride. The guy's just unreal. I hate it.

The title of this thread is preposterous. Aaron Rodgers alone could lead them to the playoffs.

It sure looks that way now (thread was started in early Sept)! But I still think the 2nd post of the thread is accurate, if Rodgers were to get hurt they are a mediocre team.PurpleMustReign wrote:The title of this thread is preposterous. Aaron Rodgers alone could lead them to the playoffs.

Welcome to the NFL. That's true of every team in the league.Texas Vike wrote: It sure looks that way now (thread was started in early Sept)! But I still think the 2nd post of the thread is accurate, if Rodgers were to get hurt they are a mediocre team.
Patriots without Brady.
Broncos without Manning.
Seahawks without Wilson or Lynch.
Vikings without Peterson (as you've seen first hand).
Lions without Stafford.
Cowboys without Romo.
Etc.
That's basically like saying LeBron would suck at basketball with a broken leg. No kidding. Every contending team in the NFL faces a huge drop off if their starting QB (or in the case of teams without a legitimate QB [i.e. Vikings], their star RB, etc.) gets hurt.

Thanks for the indoctrination you sage grasshopper!
I don't think it's true for every team as it is for GB (for example, MN w/o AD) . That team's success hinges on Rodgers' talents more than any other player on any other team in the league. That's my point. If you don't agree with it, that's fine. Just wanted to clarify what it was, since you seemed to have missed it.

Packers are winning because of one person. Rodgers. Their defense is suspect.
Packers defense points per game given up.
Within the division. 16.2
Against teams outside the division. 28
Against teams outside the division on the road. 34.6

Vikings fan since Nov. 6, 1966. Annoying Packer fans since Nov. 7, 1966

I agree their defense is very suspect.. Having Rodgers makes others very one sided as well...
Teams often have to try and put up 30 to win against Rodgers, the run goes away and they have a lot
less worry about the run game.
Lets trade them Ponder for Rodgers ....
