I know it's been talked about in some of the threads but I thought I'd post here too. Rudolph signed!

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/269 ... -years-36m
MINNEAPOLIS -- After months of uncertainty about the status of his contract for the upcoming season, veteran tight end Kyle Rudolph gained some clarity on Monday evening.

Rudolph agreed to a contract extension with the Minnesota Vikings and will sign his new deal Tuesday morning, the same day the Vikings begin their three-day, mandatory minicamp.

Terms weren't disclosed, but Rudolph's new deal is worth $36 million over four years, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter, which could keep Rudolph in Minnesota through the 2023 season.

Rudolph relayed the news with a message on Twitter. He reflected on the major events in his life since the Vikings drafted him 43rd overall in 2011: He got married, had three children and has been an active member in the Twin Cities community through his philanthropic work, which includes the establishment of Kyle Rudolph's End Zone at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital.

#Vikings undrafted rookie running back/fullback Khari Blasingame is a high character, team-first player who could end up being the steal of the UDFA class.

Something to piss us all off. Top 100 players ranking in the NFL. Harrison Smith at 75 and Stefon Diggs at 49. No Adam Thielen and no Danielle Hunter unless I missed them scrolling through.

Pretty high praise from Andre Patterson on Shumar Stephen

I think we'll see our rush defense improve this year.

Roc Thomas was cut today. It will be between Boone and Abdullah for the #3 spot.

Tashaun Bower has a torn achilles. He always flashed potential but could never stay healthy.

Shamar Stephen, Brandon Zylstra and David Morgan out for the time being. Along with Hughes obviously.

Holmes left limping today. Doesn’t seem to be anything to be overly concerned about but with him, Linval and Stephen all out, the rookies are taking a lot of the reps.

I guess this is where Training Camp stuff goes..
Hercules Mata’afa got some run with the 1’s today. I must say, I can see where all the hype was coming from this Spring. He is incredibly fast off the line of scrimmage. Mata’afa’s size might be a disadvantage when blockers get a hold of him right off the snap, but that task is easier said than done. He sped past Pat Elflein into the backfield on one of the few red zone plays the Vikings ran at the end of practice.

He won't play.

Question. I'm trying to use a remote avatar, but all of the URL's for my selection (the mooning of the Puker faithful by Randy Moss) are too long to be accepted. I have this on my computer, but I don't see an option to select from my computer. Any help?

Per Pelissero, an MRI confirmed Alexander will not need surgery/IR. Good news but not sure how long he'll be out.

We are one of a handful of teams being linked to Jalen Ramsey. Jax is wanting at least a first. To me, this would be a perfect move for the Raiders, but nothing they do really makes sense.

Any chance we can make this work, especially if other teams don't want to give up too much?
