I had a weird feeling the Vikings would look at him. Insurance policy.

I'm not disappointed that Roc was waived. Lots of people seemed to like him for some reason, but I have always thought Boone outplayed him from the 2nd preseason game on into the regular season.

As of now...I think the Vikings are truly 3 deep at the running back position and if an unfortunate injury happens to Cook/Murray, the Vikings should still be able to have a solid ground game.

Seems really unusual to keep 4 RB's plus Ham on the active roster. I assume this is a vet minimum contract?

I have convinced myself that the Vikings need to draft a TE in the next draft. There's a good amount out there and Rudolph is getting older. He can still produce and they may last another season, but nothing wrong with having 2 productive TE's. I'm eyeing Iowa TE's Fant or Hockenson...Preferably Hockenson. Especially after watching Kittle tear up the league week in and week out.

Rhodes might be done for the season.

Xavier Rhodes suffers potentially serious hamstring injury
Dr. David Chao, a doctor that generally tends to be accurate when it comes to injuries like this, seems to think that Rhodes has suffered one of the few hamstring injuries that would actually require surgery. If that’s the case, it would certainly end Rhodes’ season.

If Rhodes is out, the team will have to lean on undrafted rookie Holton Hill, and will likely end up having to sign a corner in free agency for depth purposes. It would also make Trae Waynes the #1 corner, and would place Mackensie Alexander in a more prominent role as well.

Huge loss, if true. Hill is going to get schooled by Brady. If only Hughes wasn't already out. Man, cannot afford this.

Hopefully he only misses one game. But it wouldn't shock me if this "very mild" injury was multi-week. Hamstrings for speed guys are no joke.

Guess they finally gave up on Sendejo coming back, as he was just placed on IR:

How did Sendejo get hurt?
