Figured they would grab one. Liked Carlos Henderson but he went a lot higher than I thought he would.808vikingsfan wrote:

Per PFF, Isorda didn't allow a pressure in 9 of 13 games last season despite having apparent greater strength in run blocking. Has started all 39 games at RG, allowing it 9 sacks in 1,376 snaps.
Possible Berger replacement in '18.

Looks like the Vikings moved down out of pick 199 with the Redskins.

Re: 2017 draft thread
Any truth that using 7th round picks instead of fighting for a player as an UFA carry any weight?

Fair point. I was looking strictly at the decision to move down from #139. Yesterday Spielman was asked in his presser what he enjoys most about the draft and he said it was doing trades. Perhaps he enjoys it too much.Texas Vike wrote: The third round pick we dealt was 86. We also owned 104, 109, & 132 at various points!

He's just raw, doesn't run great routes, not a blocker. He's a specialist out of the box but he also has upside.Texas Vike wrote:

I love the Bucky pick and for a lot lower than I would have taken him. This was a fantastic pick by Rick
