RIP Dennis Green
Tragic news.
“Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I assure you, it's much more serious than that.” --- Bill Shankly
RIP Dennis Green
Sad news to see today. He was the coach when I first started rooting for the Vikes as a child.

The Devil whispered in the Viking's ear, "There's a storm coming." The Viking replied, "I am the storm." #SKOL2018

Re: RIP Dennis Green
Very sad news. Coach Denny Green fielded my favorite all-time Vikings team in 1998.
I always got a kick over Green's unyielding enthusiasm for the game.
Rest peacefully, Coach. You are missed.

Re: RIP Dennis Green
Nice to see Vikings fans paying proper tribute.
It irritates me to see the lamestream media's endless looping of his "They are who we thought they were" meltdown as Cardinals' head coach, as if that's his only claim to fame. Denny Green was SO much more than that.
Denny's teams brought us Vikings fans a lot of joy. He was a fine coach, one who even managed to make Northwestern relevant -- how many remember that he was Big 10 Coach of the Year in 1982? He was also a real players' coach, loved and respected by virtually everyone who played for him. He also took great pride in helping his assistant coaches advance their careers.
Sad day.

Go ahead. I dare you.
Underestimate this man.

Sad to hear. I liked Denny Green even though the ending wasn't great. I actually even bought his book back in the day when it came out.

Denny was my dude. A drummer like me so I always had a liking for Coach. He help build one of the best teams of all time and he drafted so many of my favorite players. I was shocked when I heard the news. RIP Coach Green.
Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.

Re: RIP Dennis Green
What a shocker...RIP coach
Re: RIP Dennis Green
Yeah I thought a lot about this today. He was the coach, when I really started becoming a Vikings fan ....
The 98 team was my second favorite Viking year, as a fan. 2009 I enjoyed more because I was a more
educated fan, and i got to see a game that year. RIP Denny...
