It should be noted that the bad QB who can't play made plays on the drive to get us into position to make that kick.
Just stirring the pot, carry on.

If those had been good plays, he would have made the kick. If he'd been a good QB, they would have won by 14. Don't you know how this works?mansquatch wrote:It should be noted that the bad QB who can't play made plays on the drive to get us into position to make that kick.

Absolutely correct......a good team would have scored at least 1 TD and/or would have not allowed a TD by the Seahawks.[/quote]autobon7 wrote:Actually, good teams don't need to make that field goal.
Nah, a good team would have been on a bye week.

I think in the NFL every good team is in the playoffs...bye or not....
TD, or no TD. In the end the team was a makeable field goal from moving on.....

My comment was tongue and cheek.

Lol@good teams don't need to make last second field goals.
Tell that to the Patriots in 2002 when they won their first super bowl on a last second field goal against the Rams.
When two good teams play it often comes down to the kicker.
I don't agree that kicker is the biggest problem on the team but the idea that good teams don't really need a good kicker is nonsense.
