I didn't know this was a "thing". I like Jared Allen, great player...wouldn't have bothered me if he didn't sign a contract to make it official.

Necessary? No.
But a fitting way for him to end his career.

I hope he tackles Aaron Rodgers again at some point. And Brett Favre.

I remember that Monday night game.. Farve's first against the pack..

Jarad Allen crazy was driving Rodgers crazy.. had like two and half sacks I think..'

Allen was a fun guy to watch, for sure :govikes:

That was the V.I.P. game for me I sat in the third row about 8 seats from Syd Davey
and his wife....

I yelled out to Jarad Allen right at the end of half time(he was stretching in end zone
about 15 yards in front of me) He smiled ...that was the most fun I ever had at a Vikings
game I think... The 296 was a better game but I was so over loaded emotionally I didn't
realize how many yards A.P. had until they started flashing his numbers on Jumbo tron

I asked Mike, that many... Mike said yep....the Metrodome was electric that day 11-4-2007
