Greenways Grand Finale
SO, Zim got Greenway back for his likely final year. I am glad to see he will get a chance to play in the new stadium, perhaps into a post season run. He ought to be a good spot player and a bit of a coach on the field also.

I agree. The new stadium would not be the same without him.chicagopurple wrote:SO, Zim got Greenway back for his likely final year. Nice to have him back from a leadership stand point, hope we didn't pay him to much though.

Greenway is a class act. And he's liked by his teammates. Remember the blocking wall the D formed for him to return an INT for a 91 yard TD against the Chargers?

I was at that game, it was a sight to see. They even replayed it later on the big screen as he was walking onto the field with PA doing the play by play over the loud speakers.losperros wrote:Greenway is a class act. That would've been sweet to see in person.S197 wrote: I was at that game, it was a sight to see. They even replayed it later on the big screen as he was walking onto the field with PA doing the play by play over the loud speakers.

Glad to see Chad signed...he will get to play his last year at a new stadium and perhaps have a chance at getting a ring in the process.

I find it pretty funny that there is probably only one viking fan in the world that didnt want us to resign Greenway and he's posting in this thread

I'm glad he'll be back for another year. He was actually a valuable player for the Vikes last season so I see no reason to be don on this move.

I agree, I think we can all agree we don't want to see Greenway in a starting role he has clearly lost a step or two but proved last season to be a helpful part in rotation.Mothman wrote:I'm glad he'll be back for another year. I can guarantee you that's not the case lolchicagopurple wrote:I think Demi is just sad to see him end his career........
Either way, I'm glad he's back. His leadership carries so much weight and it's something our young LB core needs
