Most people think of Burns only as the Head coach. A lot of people forget he was the offensive coordinator for the Vikings for 18 years.

Right, I did know that, but I Was wondering if Kirk Lowdermilk played for Bud Grant.

The name sounded familiar .. I didn't follow Vikings until early 90's ...I started watching in the 80's
and watched the Vikings play the 49ers a lot in big games. Randle was the spark to my Vikings relationship.

Indeed! Perhaps me more than you... I didn't remember that he was drafted in Grant's last season as head coach. Good job on that!

Jim have always been a Viking fan from a little kid. Just didn't have any Viking forums growing up.

I like looking at this page sometimes just viewing the old roosters/rosters
