Olde Tyme Vikings History

Post by ERIK the PURPLE »

This is a little obscure but I'm looking for help in tracking down a memory. I recall watching the Vikings play KC in a pre-season game 1972 or 1973. Thought it was August 11th. Remember watching Tarkenton in Arrowhead national TV game. Anyone recall? Can't find anything on Internet.

I'm surprised too. Guess Pre-Season is the reason. If someone has the NFL record manual for that time they could help.

I did a couple different google searches, but nothing popped up. Honestly I only spent about 5 minutes, though. And I haven't bought a paper book in years. #millenial

Philistine! ;)

Erik, here's where you'll find your answer:

http://www.amazon.com/History-NFL-Prese ... 1442238909

However, it's expensive. Maybe you can find a library that has it.
