My dream Draft and movement through draft 2015

Vikings trade Peterson to Jags for 2nd and 5th round picks 2015

1st round 11th overall Danny Shelton DT Washinton
This guy is huge load with huge burst of speed. You can't run up the middle
against this guy. He makes our Dline awesome and the rest of D much better

I would love Danny Shelton but what would that mean for the Linval Joesph signing? You don't pay a guy that much to play 2nd string right? Shelton or Waynes is the way to go if they are both gone Devante Parker. Trade back in to round 1 for Shaq Thompson or hope he drops in the 2nd.

I definitely think there's some talented players in there but I don't think there's enough play makers that could help from day 1. I also think if we get rid of Peterson we need to get a power back to compliment McKinnon because Asiata is too mediocre. I'd like something like this:

Trade AP for Bucs #2 Pick in 2nd round
1. Brandon Scherff OT/OG
2. Marcus Peters CB
2. Paul Dawson MLB
3. Jay Ajayi RB
4. Eric Rowe S
5. Ben Heeney LB
7. Tayo Fabuluje OT
7. Bryan Bennett QB

Shelton might not even be there at 11 to be honest. Watch his highlight videos he just tears through players and is lightning quick
going through blocks to stop runners behind the line. I watched his film all pro talent all the way, maybe HOF talent. Most mocks
have him going in the first ten.

The Giants won two Superbowls do to their line play(especially D line)

I think they had a bunch of money tied up in their D line ? not sure how much VS what the average was..

Personally I like Cooper (his hands and route tree are awesome) better than White. I think Parker is a stretch at 11 if we moved back and got more picks
I wouldn't mind Parker.

I definitely like trading AP OUT of the NFC. Not particularly fond of trading him at all but if he doesn't want to be here and has value, might as well try to improve the team through a trade.
Drafting Shelton would be great, last year, before the Joseph signing. I think there are greater needs this year. I would prefer to reach again for another UCLA LB.
If many of those picks are there, sounds like a good dream to me.

Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.

Shelton just doesnt fill a need though. Teams first round pick is usually an immediate starter that fills a big hole. Defensive tackle is not a hole. I would be pretty ticked if they drafted Shelton

I agree it doesn't fill a need but I wouldn't be upset if they took him. He sounds like a beast of a player. Having a deep rotation of Joseph, Johnson, Floyd and Shelton could wear out the opposing offense up the middle and cause serious havoc. With Griffen and Barr out there too, it could be pretty scary. If they were to add Kendricks too as Jackal laid out, that would be real fun.

That said, my personal preference would be to get Beasley or Gregory(instead of Shelton) to pair with Barr, but that's just my opinion.

Danny Shelton would make all others on the D line

So much more effective ... The giants drove Brady
Nuts in the one super bowl ...
