Yeah the Wallace trade sealed his fate.

Good for him. I think he'll do well in Miami.

I was expecting him to wait until after the draft at this point, but I hope it works out well for him. I wonder what the terms of the contract are?

Two years, $8 million.

I realize that option probably wasn't available to us, but I wish we could have kept Jennings for that price opposed to what Wallace will be making. Hopefully Wallace changes my mind after a few games.

Did Jennings and his agent misread his market value when evaluating whether to take a pay cut from the Vikings? Pretty sure Jennings' agent is Ben Dogra

Interesting Greg Jennings contract details from @alexmarvez. Heard #Vikings offered a cut to $4M + $3M in incentives, but no guarantees.
Alex Marvez @alexmarvez
Just got details on @GregJennings 2-year, $8 million @MiamiDolphins deal: $3M SB, $900k '15 base; $3.9M' 16 base; $100k workout bonuses
Dolphins gave him a $3M signing bonus so I suppose that upfront money evens things out a bit but he could have potentially earned more this year with the Vikings depending on the structure of his incentives.

So basically we traded Jennings and a 6th round for Wallace and a 7th. I still wish we had Jennings, but it is whatever now.

Dolphins will also have Jennings for one year more than the Vikings will have Wallace under existing contracts.

I think Jarius Wright was more of a factor with Jennings.
Last year he was much explosive and won us the game
in overtime. Jarius could be used in gaps and space to
punish defenses, we played against.

We gave up our 5th round pick for Wallace.

:?: Wallace has three years left on his contract; Jennings has a two year deal with Miami.

Yeah my bad, keep getting his guaranteed $ confused with tenor.

Pseudo, you are going to have to change your avatar. I find myself staring at it too often at work.
