McKinnon was a combine beast. I love that he is up there among DLinemen w/ his bench press. I hadn't realized just how athletic Xavier was. Kind of surprised to see Ponder in a few of those.

That was really cool to look at!

I actually didn't realize how good of an athlete Xavier is. He's going to be such an asset moving forward

One guy not participating in the Combine is RB Tevin Coleman. It was assumed that he would be able to participate but ended up having a foot injury that is not fully healed. However, he will have a pro day. Its a big let down because he's one of my favorite RB prospects coming out and I wanted to see how he would test. With him and Gurley not participating, we should see a lot of other guys shine.

However, if AP is back, none of this talk would even matter

Paul Allen's interview with Spielman at the combine: http://www.vikings.com/media-vault/vide ... 703f140685

I love how Spielman doesnt give anything away. Not even the slightest hint. Also, when towards the end when he got into analytics and specific player traits really impressed me.

During interview, guy walks by and Zimmer says, hey Butch - PA asks what did Butch do for the Bengals? Zimmer's response: he was ... Uhhhh ... Wobby

For those in interested in READING, rather than listening to what Rick and Zim had to say at their presser's from Indy this week, here are the transcripts:

Spielman: http://www.dailynorseman.com/2015/2/19/ ... conference

Zimmer: http://www.dailynorseman.com/2015/2/19/ ... conference

Keeping my eyes on the Linebacking group think we might go that route again this year. Shaq Thompson OR Vic Beasley peak my interest, although i'm not exactly sure if Shaq will stay at LB when all is said and done but i hope he does.

I know a lot of you are pulling for DeVante Parker, which i have no problem with. But with Zimmer leading the charge I personally would love to see what he could do with another young defensive piece.

Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.
