Take a minute to reflect on 2 names in the Ring of Honor. Jim Marshall & Mike Tingelhoff hold the record for the #1 & 2 spot of most consecutive games played in the NFL. They did this over 19 & 15 seasons, respectively. They both did it in very damaging brutal conditions playing OUTSIDE in MN and playing tough positions! These are not kickers we are talking about. If there were ever guys who REALLY lived up to the name VIKINGS, its these guys. Oh, and dont forget Carl Eller who ONLY played 15 yrs in the same defense, again, outdoors. Imagine. Imagine the GM who found these Monsters. Consider that THEY played when there were no limits on how brutal the coaches could make practice both in preseason and during the season. I hope our new coach can bring back a bit of THIS kind of attitude.
