NFL.com VMB Fantasy Playoff Challenge
I'm posting this here, as well, because no one goes in the fantasy section anyways..
http://playoffchallenge.fantasy.nfl.com/group/202346
I set up a VMB group for NFL.com's fantasy playoff challenge. It's fantasy football, with a playoff twist!
For those not familiar with this particular game:
Let's go!

How'd everyone's Wild Card weekend go!?
Re: NFL.com VMB Fantasy Playoff Challenge
Didn't think I did well but am currently first in our group so I'll take it.
Re: NFL.com VMB Fantasy Playoff Challenge
I chose to go the route of choosing all bye players, except for Antonio Brown, who had a mediocre game. Doh.

Meh, it's only bad for now. I actually didn't even read the rules about doubling points and such. In the end your method will likely win out.frosted wrote:I chose to go the route of choosing all bye players, except for Antonio Brown, who had a mediocre game. Doh.

The risk being, if the guys I chose to move forth, don't move forth, I'm gonna like a damn fool.Cliff wrote: Meh, it's only bad for now. I actually didn't even read the rules about doubling points and such. In the end your method will likely win out.

Yeah, I didn't really fully understand that 2x, 3x, etc. element to it until now. I understood the bye week players, but I didn't realize that you also get that bonus with players whose team won in the wildcard round. Essentially, then, you are also picking players on teams that you think will advance--or at least there is an inherent advantage to doing so.

Re: NFL.com VMB Fantasy Playoff Challenge
im 3rd in the group. in the top 50,000 in the country so far. Moncrief screwed me out of a Fleener TD. Big Ben had a so so game, and now he is out. Not sure who will take his place. Rodgers or Romo? Flacco or Brady? Manning or Luck? Boy, its a toss up.frosted wrote:How'd everyone's Wild Card weekend go!?

Wish I had used Blount this week! How's everyone's squad looking heading into the Super Bowl?

Nothing like choosing the losing QB two out of three weeks.frosted wrote:Wish I had used Blount this week! How's everyone's squad looking heading into the Super Bowl?
I knew I should have taken Brady to start with. Idk why I talked myself out of it.
