Someone needs to remind me not to drink soda and read these posts.

I hope that the kid rips it up. From what I saw of his highlights the kid can ball. Just needed to grow up some and he is progressing into what his Dad and Mom can be very proud of. CC sounded a lil verklempt this morning when asked about his son signing with the Colts.

Don't hate on my Buckeyes. Some of the best Vikings went to Ohio State.

Guessing the Vikings didn't offer him that much. Bit surprised at some of these numbers

No bonus on ex-CFL WR Duron Carter's 3-year, $1.575M deal with #Colts but $25K of 2015 base salary is guaranteed. Injury splits in Yrs 1/2.

For comparison, Cam Wake got a $500K bonus from #Dolphins in 2009. Very modest investment in Cris Carter's son. Shows market wasn't huge.

Better comp: #Vikings gave Manny Arceneaux a $75K bonus in 2011 -- triple the guarantee fellow receiver Duron Carter got on a similar deal.

Is Arceneaux still on the Vikings?

No he's long gone. I don't think he's even in the league anymore to be honest
