Happy Thanksgiving, VMB!

Post by Mothman »

I hope everyone gets to spend an enjoyable day with their loved ones (and football, of course).

We should also be thankful that we still have this board. We almost lost it! Thanks to Cliff for keeping it around.

A day to count your blessings, come together over a meal and drink, and sure, why not, watch some FB!

I liked your last line, too, Moth... that was a weird chapter in VMB illustrating what the Hair Metal band of the 80's, Cinderella, expressed when they sang, "You don't know what you've got, till it's gone".

One thing I'm thankful for regarding the Vikes is Zimmer. I think he's a great coach and that we are fortunate to have landed him. We've experienced ALOT of misfortune this season, but over the long haul I think Zimmer will steer this Viking ship well. Valhalla, we are coming!

Happy Turkeyday!

I actually took part in ours today, my GF talked me into deep frying one of the turkeys (we had a huge crowd this year). First time I ever made turkey this way. Injected and marinaded it with garlic and butter all day yesterday. I will admit, I almost lost a toe cooking it, so worth it though. The best turkey I've ever had.
