So they spiked the field so the Bears had footing and we didn't? Come on - do you really hear yourself?VikingLord wrote: I think we played terrible cause the field was spiked and the Vikings players couldn't get their footing. That was just my impression, but if you can't get your footing, you can't cover and can't get separation. If the other team has their footing and you don't, it would look like one team wasn't ready and the other was.
I guess IMHO, the Bears just aren't that good, and in that game, they were SO much better than they've been all year that it wasn't just one team being ready and the other being not ready.

So what are we just gonna use all of our timeouts now?

Kalil is another reason to fire Spielman

This challenge is so stupid, the vikings should win the game by default.

Any team can beat any other team on any given Sunday. The Bears just played better that day, why does there have to be a conspiracy every time we lose?VikingLord wrote: OK, then the Bears really are that much better I guess...

Good drive there by Teddy.

Wow, How can Teddy play so well in the last few minutes?
A lot closer game then any of us thought.

Re: Packers @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread Week 12
It was too lopsided to be believable in my view. Guys like Barr were clearly unable to change direction. The Bear receivers were getting significant separation all day, while the Vikings WRs couldn't separate at all.Purple Reign wrote: Any team can beat any other team on any given Sunday. How many pro games have ever had all game clocks go out for significant portions of the game? You force a rookie QB to manage time without any clocks?
Re: Packers @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread Week 12
I think we're seeing the ups and downs of a rookie who can potentially be good. He needs to sharpen things up obviously but as long as he keeps progressing things look good.PurpleKoolaid wrote:Wow, How can Teddy play so well in the last few minutes?
