Tom Johnson's Journey

Post by jackal »

Guys like Tom Johnson, are the reason, I still watch the NFL. So tired of these spoiled brats that get everything
handed to them and then become a joke. Get guys like Kurt Warner and Tom Johnson that don't give up and finally
achieve their goal of making it into the NFL. John Randle... undrafted, and makes it to the Hall of Fame. Give me 53
warriors, who were hardened, through the battle, of Life.

Tom Johnson quote(from article)
In the NFL, it’s the elite, the best of the best. It’s what we’ve been doing since backyard ball. It’s just like coming home so I feel more comfortable here. You’ve got better competition to elevate your game, and if you can dominate on this level, you stand elite.

Nice interview. Thanks for posting. Johnson seems like a good dude and a very under-the-radar pickup by Rick that has been productive.

Cool article. Thanks for posting it.

He's taken almost a Kurt Warner path to the NFL. Hard to believe he wasn't drafted. He's playing pretty darned good football for us.

Go ahead. I dare you.

To me teams that can find guys like this, undrafted and late round talent; when other teams pass
or don't consider them as players; are much more likely to win it all.

Seattle, New England, and Baltimore are very good at this IMO

SF Niners are very good as well
