That's way too young to pass away..

R.I.P., Orlando. Thanks for the great memories you gave us as a Viking.

Wow, he went from 225 down to 70lbs.

ALS has been linked to concussions.

He was a great Viking,, one of my favs.

You mis-read that part. The article said he was down 70 lbs. not down to 70 lbs. That's still a dramatic reduction in weight.

He really had a great instinct for the ball. It was fun watching him make big plays in the Vikes defensive backfield!

RIP to one of my favorites from the Denny Green era. That really is too bad. :-(

He was a great player, and a good guy all around. Sad news, indeed. :(

didn't he have 9 interceptions that one year? It was a high number as I recall. Thomas and Robert Griffith were a lot of fun to watch back in the day!

Yeah, he had 9 in his rookie year, 1995. I remember it really well because it was the first season that I watched every game and really got into the Vikings.

I was 10 years old when he broke into the league and I remember always checking the interceptions leaders his rookie season hoping he'd lead the league.

I thought his name was so cool. Orlando!
