How about 2 hammers, one on each side of the banner, and in the middle, helmets of the Bears, Lions, and Packers being crushed.

I know I rarely post (English being my second languaje doesn't make it easier) but I think the banner should have the fans, I don't support putting a player because, as I read somewhere, we currently root for laundry and the only thing that remains are the fans, so why not the images of people going to the stadium or tailgating or somthing like that?

If you don't like that, how about a cool photoshop montage of Paul Krause, Joey Browner and Harrison Smith?

I've got one of those Calvin peeing on a Green Bay Logo pictures that I'm willing to donate.

In all seriousness though I like the Old School throwback players idea.

Past greats never go out of style so I think perhaps a banner showing some of the great players from the past would be cool. A great shot of the PPE d-line would be awesome.

I'm good with Photoshop so I'll be happy to lend my skills to the task...
My vote is for Moth to create something using Bridgewater and Flash. Or maybe do a throwback type of thing. :)

I like the idea of Greenway. He's not the best LB in the game, but he has class. He gives a lot back to the community. And he's almost homegrown. He is also nationally known. And now calling the defensive plays.

I'd say a mix or montage of old and new players to appeal to both older and newer fans. Maybe 2-4 of each past and current players.

My vote would be for Viking Players in the Hall-of-Fame. So for now:

Tarkenton, Page, Eller, Krause, Yary, McDaniel, Zimmerman, Randle, Doleman and Carter.

Next year you'll have to add Tingelhoff. :D

Seems like a smart and objective way to do it.

Harrison Smith on one side, Cordarrelle Patterson on the other. Two future stars on both sides of the ball who were drafted by US.

OR

Our current "stars" (smith, patterson, jennings, greenway, robison) on one side and our HOF members on the other.

Poll option has been added. I'll leave it up until Sunday, and hopefully we will have chosen the best option by then. If any member is a big fan of a certain option, maybe they could even work something up before the poll closes and post it to try to sway the votes. If not, Mothman can build something for the winning option (if he still volunteers, of course).

EDIT: I almost added an option of Bud Grant photoshopped as a Viking warrior eating cheese with a dead bear and lion at his feet. We really missed out on a great one, there.
