What does this have to do with the Vikings? Read on...
"I was always a Packer ... and it's like borrowed time elsewhere," Favre said from his home in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. "I played my heart out each and every year I played, and I'm proud of that. I was proud to say that I am a Packer and will always be a Packer and am honored that I've gotten the opportunity to do that.
*gasp*
Seriously, congrats to Favre for an honor he earned and deserves.
Jim, will you be doing a spiritual cleansing ritual to ensure all of Favre is completely eradicated? As an FYI: I think you have to burn a wedge of Wisconsin cheese while doing the "Pants on the ground" song before chanting the word "Favre" backwards three times in John Madden's voice for it to work properly.

Hahaha, I think we all know your feeling toward Favre Jim - it is all right though!
I for one was a big fan of Favre when he was here. I never 'liked' the guy when he played for Green Bay, but I had respect for him as a player. We had a great run while he was here in Minnesota.
Anyway, his comments don't offend me! What else is he supposed to say? I mean, it would like really asinine if he had said, "oh, I just loved my time in Minnesota," while he is going to be inducted into Green Bay's hall of fame.
What will be interesting is when he gives his HOF induction speech. I wonder if Madden is going to inducted him when it comes to be his turn to be enshrined...
A Randy Moss fan for life. A Kevin Williams fan for life.

It's only right though. I just hate that my favorite QB of all-time was a Packer. I'm at least grateful for that one magical season where he donned the purple. I already struck out that second year...Doesn't exist to me.
