The Vikings announced that defensive tackle Linval Joseph was shot in the leg last night at a nightclub after the game.
“Following last night’s preseason game, Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Linval Joseph was an innocent bystander to the shooting that took place at the 400 SoundBar in downtown Minneapolis,” the statement read. “Linval suffered a minor injury during the shooting when a stray bullet struck his calf. Hopefully when they say he'll return next week, they mean he was grazed and can start practicing again next week...

Pro football players might be wise to just stay out of clubs and bars for the duration of their careers. An awful lot of negative stories about them seem to start in those locations.

I think it's unreasonable to expect players to stay out of clubs/bars. Yeah, you hear a few stories about bad things that happen. I have a feeling these bad instances happen a very low percentage of the time that players go out, though.

100% agree. Not that this was his fault, but they have bad luck in clubs and bars. But it seems to be the lifestyle pro athletes like.
