Re: Vikings Week 2: Good, Bad, and the Ugly
I can pick and choose the plays that confirm my own biases, too....not sure how that helps, but makes some feel better, I guess. That safety Cousins took...terrible all around. Didn't learn, horrible awareness, dug the team deeper... Why cape for the guy? We all want him to succeed....he just ain't ...

Re: Vikings Week 2: Good, Bad, and the Ugly
Kubiak is probably the lowest on my totem pole of blame, but yeah...coaches don't get away from this free and clear.

Re: Pathetic
Let's not forget, there are 7 playoff seeds now. No way a vet coach and mostly vet team is giving in this early.

Re: Pathetic
I doubt this team will climb out of last place this season, although the Lions might enable them to do that. We'll see what happens but a team can only stagnate under this kind of leadership for so long before it catches up with them and it looks like this might be the season it catches up with the...

Re: Pathetic
The contracts of Rudolph and Barr are again, highly in question. I didn't like either, but Rudy seemed revitalized last season, at least. The multi-year deal though....
And Michael Pierce opting out really hurt. Helpless against the run and no Dline push. There was 1 play with a Gak sighting.

Pathetic showing. Cousins was horrible, receivers aside from Thielen not good, Irv Smith with drops and penalties and then the illegal contacts on D...clearly a coaching issue. This is going to be a bad season.

Good week 1 for the guy...looks like he's one of few weapons they have right now for week 2
Stefanski
Did anyone see the Browns/Bengals game? Stefanski's fingerprints were all over that offense. I think he might be a great fit for that team, especially for Baker. Rooting for him to do good things even though he's with one of the worst ran franchises in sports. That offense definitely has the talent ...

Re: Dantzler is out against Colts
His coverage was pretty good, I thought...just couldn't find the ball. I figured there'd be mistakes, but missing time is almost worse. He needs game reps to get better for the stretch. Now, let the CB carousel begin.

Re: Vikings vs. Packers: Good, Bad, and Ugly
The Vikings ran two play actions Sunday one very near the start of the game. That safety where he was sacked was play action and pretty much guaranteed Cousins would not see the blitz coming and go down in the end zone. I am wondering if that is why Kubiak went away from it? Being dependent on one ...

Re: Joe Buck
I don't know any fan bases at all that really care for Joe Buck. He doesn't take himself as serious as he used to, but HOF is a bit much. It almost certainly has to do with his longevity. Its like Frank Gore, who probably gets in eventually...never the best at any one time, but did it do long, he ra...
