Re: Injury News

Sheperd is a free agent. Chargers released him from their practice squad a few weeks ago. Dont think anyone scooped him up.

I also don't recall him getting any holding or false start calls either. He definitely got away with one holding in the third quarter though.

Re: 2nd Quarter Predictions

With the way we are are playing right now it's hard to see us not going 4-0. But it's also tough to believe we can continue to play at this level every week, so I say we go 3-1. We could be on our way to home field advantage in the playoffs. A NFC Championship game would be a great way to break in t...

Re: 2016 Season General Comments (pressers, practice notes,

Hmm Diggs with the groin injury. They take a long time to heal with very little to heal them but time. I was unaware of Diggs groin injury until I saw this post, but you could definitely see it. I was wondering what was wrong with him last night. He lacked that little bit of extra explosiveness he ...

Re: Thoughts on Disappointing Seasons & Blair Walsh

I think part of the problem is there is no better options at kicker. I know people will call for Gould but he's not as good as he once was, and we still need someone to handle kickoffs. At least Blair Walsh has a strong leg. I may be missing someone who's decent and available, but I didn't see any f...

From the Chargers I believe. I remember watching him play at Nebrasksa. Was pretty good there, but went undrafted and was pretty much just a fringe roster guy there.

Pretty crazy that we trded Hodges for Sirles and he's just been riding the pine this whole time.
Hodges was actually traded for Nick Easton, not Sirles.

Re: Giants @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 4

Been pretty impressed by our oline. They definitely aren't anything spectacular but they've been pretty solid. This Sirles guy looks like a legit starter. And Boone is balling tonight.

Re: ESPN NFC North Blog

Eli may not be as mobile as the last two quarterbacks we faced but I do think he gets rid of the ball quicker. Rodgers and Cam both are willing to buy time with their feet and sometimes it can lead to getting hit more often. Just because Eli is less mobile doesn't necessarily mean we are in line for...

Re: AD Injury thread

The asking price for Thomas last year was rumored to be a first or second round pick. Maybe they have lowered those demands because he's got less years left on his contract and they are a train wreck as a team right now. I'd offer Wright and a 3rd but still doubt that gets it done. Plus we'd probabl...

Re: AD Injury thread

We have had three serious injuries to starters on offense and you could still make the argument that our offense has improved.

Re: AD Injury thread

Decent chance that the last time we see Peterson in a Vikings uniform was him being helped to the locker room, unless he is willing to restructure his contract for significantly less money.

Re: AD Injury thread

Josina Anderson reporting that Peterson will be out a minimum of 3-4 month.

I'm silently hoping she actually meant 3-4 weeks. But we will be alright either way.

Re: matt kalil continues to be a liability

I know he's a RT but one guy I would love for then to throw money at this off-season is Ricky Wagner from Baltimore. He has been real good for them. I may be a little biased as a Badger, but he always had great athleticism for someone his size and was one of the better Wisconsin linemen I have seen....

Re: AD Injury thread

I tore my meniscus about two years ago and it only took me about a month before I was running on it. Actually tore mine in a pretty similar way to AD while playing football. Granted I am pretty young and heal quickly and it wasn't a very serious tear. It was of the lateral variety. Based on the way ...
