Re: It's Quiet Around Here...
Very cute baby. I don't post during the season, maybe I would if we were having a winning season, but I prefer to stew in seclusion during the year, and not come on here and spread my discontent of how they are doing. I'll be happy to join in on all of the draft speculation and mock drafts though. T...

Re: Zimmer wants Peterson in a Vikings uniform in 2015
I really hate all the articles where they ask coaches, GMs, Other players what they want as far as other players. It puts them on the spot and most of the time they just say.. yeah, we want such and such player back. Because saying otherwise is pretty much a bridge burner. I can't remember how many ...

Re: Mike Zimmer, Year One
Im pretty pleased with Zimmer as a head coach. I think he is a strong defensive mind, and also commands respect from the players. He also has no issue taking chances, and evidenced by quite a few 4th down attempts, and most of them were successful. The Offense still feels like its not really his bab...

Re: Film observations of Vikings: Week 1 vs. Rams
The St Louis D-Line is really the strong point of the team. Aaron Donald which everyone felt was a stud coming into the draft this year is their rotational guy. Quinn Lead all DEs in sacks last year, Brockers is a force up front, Chris Long at the other End. Langford would probably be the weak spot ...

Re: Vikings @ St Louis Sept 7th
Rams weekend was a blast. The St Louis fans were very friendly for the most part. I get the feeling that the Rams are not a very supported team within the St Louis Metro. Didn't see much for Rams Jerseys. Saw almost only Vikings Fans in our section, and talking to some fans, they seem to care mostly...

Re: 2014 Free Agent Tracker & Discussion
Personally, once a player is a free agent, I don't care what team he comes from, as long as he has the right skill set to do the job. Im sure that Seattle does not have a secret agent waiting outside the Vikings locker room seeing if they can grab someone that we let go. However, if they have a need...

Re: The Master "Lets get X Player" for the Vikings Next Year
Flowers is a good competitive football player. They put him in slot last year a lot and that is not his strong suit. I would not break the bank to get him, but Rhodes/Flowers on the outside, and Munnerlyn in slot sounds a lot better to me than Rhodes/Robinson-Cox on the Outside and Munnerlyn in slot.

Re: Zimmer gets his hands on Vikings rookies
I liked the Barr pick a whole lot but I was kind of on the fence with him and Mosely. Mosely was a great linebacker in college but I could not discount the fact that he was playing with the number one defense in the country (UCLA was not even close) and often times with the Bama leads, teams were f...

You can donate it to some 3rd world country's children in a few years. Like all those Jets/Ghouston Jerseys.Jeffbleedspurple wrote:I ordered a Barr jersey

Re: Zimmer gets his hands on Vikings rookies
You raise an excellent point, we have no idea how any of these players will turn out, but I'm confused by your last statement: I am probably misinterpreting what you mean here, but are you saying Barr and Mosely had completely opposite contributions at the NCAA level (as I'm reading it, Mosely cont...

Re: Zimmer gets his hands on Vikings rookies
Yeah, that's the thing and we've talked about this before but you can take a player like CJ Mosley or Manti Teo and see what you're going to get, that's their ceiling already and if you're okay with that you make the pick. Personally at #8(9) there's no way I take those kind of low ceiling players ...

Re: Roger Goodell
I don't mind the idea of the expanding the playoffs by 2 teams. It just makes being the TOP dog that much more important if your team really wants that bye. It doesn't extend the amount of weeks it takes to get to the Superbowl, and gives 2 additional teams an opportunity to play in the post season....

Re: Who should start at QB?
Talking about getting shut down. Against the Bengals he was 13-27 for 114 yds. and 3 interceptions with a 32.6 rating. The Vikes beat the Redskins as Ponder got hurt on a run/scramble play near the goal line and the Vikes had the game pretty much in hand. The Steelers game, which Cassell was credit...

I think whoever gives you the best chance to win games starts. Im a Teddy fan, but if he isn't better than Cassel, he needs to develop until he is better than Cassel.

Re: Teddy Bridgewater
I agree about character. I also think, that Minnesota, more than many other places needs to have some high character teams, with the team leaders being exceptionally high character. The Minnesota that I go back and visit, and remember living in for 20+ years. Although they vote democrat the majority...
