Re: Play calling

High price free agent WR, 1st round WR traded four picks to get, 6th pro bowl alternate TE everyone loves, Two interior linemen that were extended to solid deals. 2nd round right tackle who was extended recently. Top 5 left tackle. 1st round QB. Even when they're all healthy we didn't see anything ...

Re: The Wilfs

They win the division perennially solely because of Rodgers. The "talent" they've drafted was on display last year when Rodgers was out. I have already stated, in this thread, several reasons why this is not the truth, and I would really rather not repeat myself. This comes up ...

LOL I noticed that too. XD

I hope somewhere out there on Sunday, their is one very confused cheesehead standing at the former site of the Metrodome wondering where he took a wrong turn.

Re: Vikings claim Ben Tate

I actually recall watchin his draft story somewhere on NFLN, and he was pretty upset when the Vikes drafted Gerhart ahead of him.

Re: 21 Year Old Ted Bridgewater

I wish people would stop using the Manning comparison. There is no guarantee that Teddy will 'get it' just because Manning did. For every Manning there are quite a few more qbs that never 'got it' (Ryan Leaf, JaMarcus Russel, JP Losman, Matt Leinart, Ponder, Brady Quinn, Akili Smith just to mention...

Re: The Wilfs

It all boils down to Spielman "not finding" that elite QB yet. We don't know what we have in Teddy yet but that is a lot of what it is based on. Someone answer me this....If we add a guy like Luck or Aaron Rodgers on this team and have the same defense we have right now, what do you think...

Re: The Wilfs

My thing on the Packers is this. Say you took all the analysis they did on Rogers and applied the same model to the next 50 QBs to come out of the draft. Do you really think you'll get the same results? The answer is obviously no. In addition to that, as was stated, without Rogers they are pretty t...

They have, that is why the only real weakness on that team is run D.

Re: The Wilfs

I agree you need the total package to win a SB. In my initial post, I said an elite QB "makes an OFFENSE". Not an entire team in general. I think our posts were both misread along the way which happens. What I'm saying is, if you have a elite QB, of course your team is going to be good. N...

Re: 21 Year Old Ted Bridgewater

So here's where I am at here... I know he is a rookie. I know he is "raw". I know he probably was forced into starting when he wasn't ready. But he really needs to start showing something above and beyond quickly for me to believe he is the QB of the future. Good to great QBs make their p...

Re: The Wilfs

Polian is one of the best GMs ever in the NFL IMO. But I wasn't talking about Polian. I'm talking about the current Colts and Grigson. As for the Packers, they have been a bottom 7 defense 3 of the last 4 years. In 2011, they were actually dead last and had the worst statistical defense in the leag...

Re: The Wilfs

BUT do you think that the Vikes Coaches would have helped Rodgers reach his current potential? I see NO history to suggest that would ever happen. Idk, I think it might of taken a little bit longer for him to reach his current form, but he would have reached it eventually, the dude is simply one of...
