Re: Proposed Onside Kick Change

It's a little weird, but I guess it would work. With a 12.5% chance of converting a 4th and 15, it would be better odds than with the current onside kick rules. I guess I'm a traditionalist in many ways. I miss the old onside kick rules. At least there was a chance to recover, and it was an excitin...

Re: Vikes-Packers week (pregame)

I am worried about the oline. 4 pressures on 12 dropbacks is not a good sign. I really felt that Pat played very poor last game. Some of the washdown blocks by Bradbury were amazing. If we can get decent play from both guards, we win this. Laslty, a little bit worried about no slot cb. I doubt Mac ...

Re: 2019 Roster Moves and Transactions Thread

Some speculation this is a way the Vikings can let him learn the playbook and get up to speed while saving a roster spot for a much needed corner while Alexander and Hill are out. When can he come back? I guess if it's that hard for him to learn a play book maybe that's why he struggled so far in h...

Re: Week 1 Win!: Falcons Post-Game Discussion

The only thing I want the Vikings to do is to keep trying to score. I don't care if you are up 35-0, never let your foot off the gas. It's the other teams' job to stop you from scoring. If they can't, that is their problem, not yours. Yeah, I lean that way, too. I get the idea of running the ball t...

Re: 3rd Round Pick: RB Alexander Mattison

I will apologize for my post this morning about the dog thing. Trying to make stupid humor about all the arguing and attacking lately. I take full responsibility and apologize. Wont happen again. I'm not picking on you, although I am using your post as an example. You've been a member of the board ...

Re: 3rd Round Pick: RB Alexander Mattison

The difference between prioritizing WR3 over RB2 is shades of gray, and is entirely dependent on your views, the team philosophy, game day opponents, efficicacy of the QB, general health of the starters, gameday situations, what kind and quantity of talent is available “on the street” at each posit...

LOL. Every Vikings fan has been saying this since at least the 2016 season.
I've been saying it since 2007. Remember 2009, we were all worried Favre would get killed.

Re: Week 1 Win!: Falcons Post-Game Discussion

Everything has been touched on already, but I want to mention the special teams. Everything Bailey kicked was right down the middle. He hit the crossbar on a kick off. Colquitt had to have elaveraged over 50 yards per punt, but he kicked it high too, so he didn't out kick the coverage. And I don't ...

Re: 3rd Round Pick: RB Alexander Mattison

Good Lord this board is dysfunctional!!!!! We had a great Kubiak style win against a potential playoff team with a dominant running game and D.....And there are more posts arguing about a WR who isn’t on the team and a backup running back (who by the way put up great numbers for a backup role today...

Re: Vikings vs. Cardinals thoughts

Figures. The owners and the league itself do not care about player safety like they claim. That's why we still have Thursday night football. Like everything else it comes down to money. The owners make the initial investment so they want to make money. Why not. Should they try and lose money? I do ...

Re: Vikings trade for Vedvik

I don’t think our kicking woes are over but not for the same reasons others think. Not only do we have a rookie LS but we also have one of the most injury prone players as holder. Beebe wasn’t asked to do much last year and was only active for 3 games. Now he’s tasked with being the #3 guy and stay...
