Re: Cousins Trade Rumors
You surely can't skip a day in these hot button issues threads because what starts as quick hitting points turns into walls of text a few pages deep. I no longer care. tldr

Re: Cousins Trade Rumors
I don't think some of you understand how good Watson is. Tell us how good he is. I'm open to learning something if there is objectively something to learn. Watson's stats are marginally better than Cousins from what I've seen. He's a better runner for sure. The two aren't close there, but passing-w...

Re: Cousins Trade Rumors
Just read the same. All I can say is, “Please, football gods, don’t tease us.” We all know that Deshaun Watson is available. If the Vikings could somehow unload Cousins on the Niners, what would you be willing to give up for Watson? I’ll start the bidding at first-rounders in 2021 and 2022, a secon...

Re: Vikings-Bears Preview Thread
This is not a spot I typically feel good about and it's the same this go around. Hoping they stick to the sound football they've been playing and avoid huge mistakes. A win here completely straightens the arrow towards a potential run. Getting over that hump easier said than done though.

Re: Barr's future with Vikings
I was rarely a fan of Barr and was low-key happy he was leaving...until he reneged on the Jets. He dissappear for long stretches...games even, whereas Wilson may not be as talented, but he shows up when needed at times and always with the effort.

I thought he showed promise as a rookie, but regressed like Kalil...not fretting about this.

Re: Vikings in full tank mode - trade Ngakoue
Yet another reason I continually ask myself why I frequent this board. It's like a damn drug addiction. Stats and PFF are fine when they suit an argument, but when they don't, then it's back to unsubstantiated opinions. How about pressures? Third-fewest among all tackles. That has nothing to do wit...

Re: The Vikings aren't THAT bad...blow it up or nah?
Cousins got his bag of money and that butt-hole has the nerve to be cavalier about his inconsistency and mostly putrid play when it matters with faux remorse understanding full well that he fully played the Vikings' front office (FO). Zimmer pulled hard at the heart strings and the FO bought in -- w...

Re: The Vikings aren't THAT bad...blow it up or nah?
Talent, it's there. Some bad breaks, it happens. Pro Football Focus (PFF) rates Thielen and Jefferson very highly -- and if you couldn't care less about PFF rankings -- the eye test shows they're really really good, too! Factor in a top tier RB and this is hardly a bottom-of-the-barrel operation on ...

The Vikings aren't THAT bad...blow it up or nah?
Don't get me wrong, they are what their record says they are, but we've all seen bottom feeder teams before and this ain't that. Not in the sense of a dire need for playmakers. This team definitely is not devoid of talent. And they're mostly competitive (ducks from strays -- it's all relative, folks...

Re: Cousins in the “big games”
I don't really care anymore about the narrative...I can legitimately argue both sides, but it proves nothing really in terms of what we're really craving here...so, let's just start with Sunday Night against the MVP front-runner and then maybe, hopefully, at some point, a damn SB. Then may we all sh...

Re: Vikings vs. Texans: Good, Bad, and Ugly
It's a pretty crowded field with Herbert, Burrow, Lamb, heck even Aiyuk could be in the mix if he continues to improve. I'm just glad JJ is looking like a good compliment to Thielen. Just read that JJ is currently PFF’s top-rated receiver ... in the entire NFL. At this point, he’s got to be the ear...
