Re: Points and yards given up in 3 games most in history

The issue is, two of those game were against Brett Hundley. The best record Zimmer ever held against Rodgers as a Vikings HC was 3-4-1, but he has since lost 3 straight. 3-7-1, you know who beat Rodgers that many times in less years? Chilldress. Where are you getting this? I just quoted you that th...

He's beaten them before. What's the common thread in 18-19?
So what? I can understand the Packers since they are better than Vikings but not the Bears
The Bears are better too.

Re: Points and yards given up in 3 games most in history

I've posted this before but Zimmer's D IMO was never that great when we played teams that can move the ball. We shut out the Packers which padded the stats but the only reason why that happened is because Rodgers was out. When Rodgers plays they can score when ever they feel like it. The year we ma...

Re: Imagine the possibility (Mr. Lawrence)

This thread is cute, as epic as Mr. Lawrence may be as our future QB, I truly have my doubts.. 1. With the extended absence of CMC, the CAR Panthers are the worst NFC team in the NFL. Way too young and a completely nonexistent young defense (almost like ours). This is a COVID season so who knows, C...

Re: Yannick Ngakoue to Vikings

According to last years numbers, both the Packers and Bears edge rushing duo's had more sacks and pressures. Than Hunter and Ngakoue combined? WOW!!!!! Can you share the names and the numbers? Sure. The Packers duo of Zadarius and Preston Smith had 26 sacks combined. Zadarius was 2nd in the NFL in ...

Re: Top needs in free agency and draft

The super bowl already existed by that time, 'Super Bowl' was just an unofficial name for the AFL-NFL Championship Game. It was an exhibition game between the two league champions. Nothing more. It was called the "AFL-NFL Championship Game" officially, and unofficially called the Super Bo...

Re: Top needs in free agency and draft

Well, Vikings won the 1969 NFL championship so it is a successful season so be happy Not too many people, outside of Viking fans, realize that they did win the NFL Championship in 1969. That of course was before anyone had ever heard of the Super Bowl. Yep, 1969, the LAST successful season my belov...

Re: Teddy Bridgewater

Well, that's a matter of opinion, which is, of course, your right. A lot of us saw improvement with our eyes in 2015 and believed he was poised to take a step forward in 2016 before the injury. And I personally believe this past year, when he filled in for Brees, Bridgewater played some really good...

Re: Should the Vikings Trade for Joe Burrow?

If the opportunity presents itself, yes. The opportunity presenting itself would look something like getting a trade offer for Diggs or Cousins and accepting it. Trading our first, plus the first from that trade, plus a first in 2021 in order to move up to 1 or 2 and select Burrow. I'd be inclined ...

Re: Vikings talking extension with Cook

I'd rather wait until he hits FA. If we cant get one of the other top backs from his class, Jones, McCaffrey, Kamara, etc. then sure, sign him.

Re: Teddy Bridgewater

I liked Teddy and he didn't put up good numbers, but he seemed to have leadership qualities. His fatal flaw was hyperventilating when he got a receiver open deep and overthrew them by about ten yards every time. His fatal flaw with the Vikings was he got hurt. He was primed to have a great year in ...
